How can we help you?
Welch has provided oil-sealed, rotary vane pumps to fulfill customer needs in laboratory and industrial applications for over 65 years. Available as direct and belt-driven versions, Welch’s rotary vane pumps and systems are well known for their high-water vapor tolerance, which leads to an outstanding reliability for chemical applications.
Our comprehensive range of vacuum oil and accessories includes:
Post Pump Production
Vacuum Traps
Vacuum Controllers and Gadgets
Service Kits
DuoSeal Pump Oil
Premium Pump Oil
Gold Oil
These products are offered in a variety of sizes, filters and configurations.
Welch's direct-driven rotary vane pump is lubricated automatically at an optimized oil pressure, resulting in lower ultimate pressures and stabilized temperature, thereby extending its lifespan. Made with selected materials that offer good chemical resistance, it is a suitable portable partner for a wide range of applications in laboratories and industrial environments.
Welch’s two-stage rotary vane pumps are always an option when an ultimate pressure level from 0.5 mbar to 1x10-4 mbar is required. Depending on the pump model the pumping speed range lies between 1.8 m³/h and 60 m³/h.
From our experts: Read about 10 tips that will ensure that your rotary vane pump works seamlessly.
Rotary Vane Pumps are positive displacement pumps which create vacuum through rotation of one or more vanes inside the pump chamber. They are also referred to simply as rotary vacuum pumps, or alternatively, vane vacuum pumps.
The new CRVpro family of direct drive lab vacuum pumps is more reliable and has longer service intervals than comparable direct drive rotary vane vacuum pumps, and they use up to 36% less oil. Three features contribute to these benefits: they run 10°C cooler than comparable pumps (slowing corrosion), have a 40% larger oil capacity (diluting aggressive chemicals), and have a chemical resistant coating in the oil case and rotary.
The CRVpro dual stage rotary vane pump family includes all the features you'd expect in a direct drive two-stage pump: gas ballast, forced oil lubrication, anti-suckback mechanism and thermal overload protection.
It is designed for applications such as vacuum ovens, industrial applications, vacuum manifolds (Schlenk Lines), freeze dryers (Lyophilisation), glove boxes, vacuum concentrators, HVAC or as a backing pump for high vacuum systems such as mass spec devices.
