Turbomolecular pumps from Welch are used to generate a high and ultra-high vacuum up to a pressure range of 1x10 (at -10) mbar with an extreme high pumping speed.

Besides standard turbomolecular pumps (SST), Welch provides turbomolecular pump systems in a housing (CDK), and as a mobile version on a pillar with a rotary vane or diaphragm pump as a fore-vacuum pump (STP).
